Terms of Use

Ground rules for using the site, buying support, and purchasing service work.

These terms govern access to the Avery Logic Works website, account features, supporter flows, service-slot purchases, and related pages unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

1. Acceptance

Using the site means you agree to these terms.

By accessing the site, creating an account, joining updates, making a purchase, donating, subscribing, or using any interactive feature, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the account, supporter, or purchase features.

2. Eligibility

Use the site only if you can lawfully enter this agreement.

You may use the site only if you are legally permitted to do so in your jurisdiction and can provide accurate information for your account, billing, and contact details. You may not create an account or use the site on behalf of another person in a misleading way.

3. Accounts

Accounts must be truthful, secure, and non-impersonating.

  • You are responsible for your login credentials and activity under your account.
  • You must provide a valid email address you control.
  • You may not use a display name that impersonates the site, its founder, staff, support, moderation, or official status.
  • You may not use sexually explicit, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful identifiers.
  • You must notify the site promptly if you believe your account was accessed without permission.
4. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to harm, probe, exploit, or interfere.

  • No unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, or sexually explicit use.
  • No attempts to disrupt the site, overload it, scrape it aggressively, reverse engineer protected features, bypass access controls, or test security without permission.
  • No malware, phishing, credential attacks, bot abuse, spam, or automated misuse.
  • No impersonation of Avery Logic Works, the founder, site support, or other users.
  • No use of the site in a way that could create legal, operational, reputational, or safety harm.
5. Content and site materials

The site and its materials remain protected.

Unless a page clearly says otherwise, the site design, branding, written materials, media, logos, downloads, and project descriptions are owned by Avery Logic Works or used with permission. You may not copy, republish, resell, mirror, or exploit protected material beyond ordinary personal viewing without prior written permission.

6. Support, services, and subscriptions

Payments fund the work but do not transfer ownership rights.

One-time support, recurring support, and service-slot purchases may be offered through third-party billing providers. Payment does not transfer ownership of the studio, source code, trademarks, unpublished materials, or broader intellectual-property rights except where a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Service-slot purchases are reviewed against the scope presented at checkout and the private intake or purchase record tied to that payment. If the request materially exceeds the purchased slot, Avery Logic Works may pause fulfillment and propose a revised scope, revised tier, or other next step before additional work begins.

6.1 Command Nexus pricing & price changes

Command Nexus pricing rises as it grows from Alpha to Beta to Full Release.

Command Nexus is released in stages — Early Access Alpha, then Beta, then Full Release. Because each stage adds capability, stability, and support, prices step up at each stage. By creating an account, starting a trial, or subscribing to Command Nexus, you acknowledge that current pricing is introductory and will change as the program advances.

If you are already subscribed when pricing changes, the price you are currently paying stays in effect until the end of the paid period you have already started. A price change does not retroactively charge you more for a period you have already paid for.

When that paid period ends and a new price is in effect, your subscription will not silently renew at the higher price. You will be asked whether you want to continue, and you will be shown your previous price and the new price before anything renews. If you choose not to continue, your paid access simply ends at the end of the period you already paid for.

Trials are time-limited and are not permanent free or low-cost access. Trial price and length may also change between stages. Yearly plans are planned for Full Release and are not offered during Alpha or Beta.

7. Refunds, cancellations, and disputes

Billing issues should be reviewed directly first, and recurring support must remain cancellable.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, or unauthorized, contact the billing address listed on the site before filing a dispute when reasonably possible. Refunds may be reviewed case by case using the transaction record, delivery status, refund history, service-intake record, customer communications, and any digital access or supporter benefits already used.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Custom work already started, substantially delivered, or completed may limit refund eligibility, and used digital access or fulfilled supporter benefits may also limit refund eligibility except where required by law.

If recurring support is offered, the recurring terms should be disclosed before payment and cancellation should remain reasonably accessible. Repeated abusive or bad-faith disputes may lead to purchase restrictions, account limitations, or access loss where allowed by law.

8. Future features

The site may change as the platform grows.

Avery Logic Works may add, remove, revise, suspend, or reorganize features, supporter areas, account settings, and public pages at any time. The site may remain in active development, and some features may be placeholders, staged rollouts, or limited-access previews while the platform evolves.

9. No warranty

The site is provided on an as-available basis.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its features are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Reasonable effort may be made to keep the site stable, but uptime, availability, and continuity are not guaranteed.

10. Limits and enforcement

Access may be restricted to protect the site or its users.

Avery Logic Works may suspend, restrict, delete, or refuse accounts, donations, purchases, comments, or access where there is suspected misuse, impersonation, unlawful conduct, security risk, repeated policy violations, payment abuse, or other conduct that threatens the site, users, or project operations.

11. External services

Third-party providers may handle part of the experience.

The site may use outside providers for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, mailing lists, media delivery, and other infrastructure. Their systems may affect how parts of the site behave. Avery Logic Works is not responsible for outages or policy changes caused by independent third-party providers, though they may be part of the site’s normal operations.

12. Changes to these terms

Updated terms will govern future use once posted.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on the site unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised version.
